EcoProcura 2014 - Sustainability, innovation and cost efficiency: taking procurement forward

The EcoProcura 2014 conference was held in Ghent (Belgium) and was attended by procurers from all levels of government, policy-makers, business representatives, and officials from European institutions. The conference examined public procurement from the impact it has on the environment, economy and society. High-level speakers included Gunter Pauli, Author, Teacher, Activist, and Entrepreneur, Bonifacio Garcia-Porras, DG Enterprise and Industry, European Commission; Mercè Rius i Serra, Deputy President for Environment, Province of Barcelona, Spain; and Daniël Termont, Mayor, City of Ghent, Belgium.
